Today my mom and I drove out to Hope’s house and we brought Spike. We gave her Spike so she could show him in Juniors and have something to show. She no longer ad a dog to show in Juniors so I thought we could give her Spike because I felt bad for her. She didn’t have her pomeranians to show anymore. We also brought KC to help keep Spike company and she wanted to show KC too. She can show Spike in Juniors and Breed and she can also show KC in juniors as well.

Before I gave her Spike I was lead breaking him and then that’s when finally I gave her Spike to start walking him and practicing with him. Hope now own’s her very first dog and she is officially part of Team Figgy.

Of course my mom gave us some homeschool lesson’s to learn about the Chihuahua Breed Standard along with the folders and supplies to start keeping records on dogs per the AKC rules. We had to figure out what the faults are on Spike and KC and Teddy and point out the faults. There is no perfect dog. Not every dog is perfect.

The faults on KC are her legs are too short and she has a low tail set. Also she’s a small dog and her ears are too small. On Spike his ears are too big and his muzzle is a bit long and that’s it.  Teddy’s faults are his back is roach and he’s got bad angulation  in the rear.

We also are trying to get Spike and KC with a bit more comfortable with a new environment. We have a new handler for our sweet KC.

We’ve got two amazing mom’s helping us out with our future and supporting us and being there for us because we want to become professional handlers. We want to show people’s dogs for them. Hope and I are working really hard and working together. We ae helping each other out and rooting each other on. I just want to say Thank You mom for helping us out with our future and doing these amazing things for us and supporting us. We have two great mothers that are there for us and supporting their two amazing daughters. We couldn’t ever do this without you so thank you very much.

Another Day at the Dog Show. Today I showed in Lakeland and I was in the ring with three other Juniors. I was kinda nervous because my pantyhose were too tight on me and I felt like they were going to fall off of me. I was embarrassed. I don’t like wearing pantyhose because they hurt my stomach but you have to wear them though.

The judge put in me in fourth – very last place! It was very upsetting because I know I did everything right. She just didn’t like Teddy. She asked about Teddy’s number of teeth and she gave me a nasty look when she looked into his mouth. They’re supposed to Judge on the Junior not the dog. I was really hurt and upset. People said I should have placed. Oh well though. It happen’s.

Today there was ICE dog show and it as in Deland at the fairgrounds. It’s an International Dog Show so It’s different than what I’m used to. We went for my mom’s Birthday.  There were cones in the ring instead of the normal ring gates. It was kind of confusing to understand where they ring was and where I should walk.

I had to do an L and I got it right. An L Pattern can sometimes be very hard. Sometimes I mess up when I do an L but sometimes I don’t mess up on the L pattern. I was scared at first that I would get it wrong but I didn’t get it wrong this time.

If you wanna beat somebody you need to stay focused and pay attention and listen to the Judge and try your hardest. So this time this time I stayed focused and payed attention and listened to the Judge and worked really hard.

This is way different then a real dog show because there are cones and you’re getting graded on how good you do and what you did right or wrong. They give you a piece of paper with a grade on it and then they give you two ribbon necklaces with a big blue ribbon as well. It’s pretty cool and it’s pretty fun too. I have never been to an ICE Dog Show before and of course my brother went with us to go watch.  I went to hang out with my friend Hope. She did a really good job too. She messed up on the L Pattern but that’s ok. Not every Junior gets the L right and she still did an awesome job. It was an awesome day for Teddy and I. We both did a great job so I’m very proud of myself and Teddy.
