We have some chew bones that we get for our dogs to eat to make their teeth smell better and look better. It’s suppose to make their teeth white and clean their teeth. We gave  our two Pugs some and they love them.

Margie loves the chew bones. She loves her bone and Boomer loves his bone. We gave it to our Pugs and our Chihuahuas when there being good and behaving. But if there being bad or mean we don’t give it to them. We don’t reward them when there being bad but we do reward them when there being good dogs and nice dogs.

We all give them one and make sure they’re not fighting over it and we give them their own. They all love their treats and they all love us when we give them treats. Some of them are trained to sit so we give them treats if they sit and listen to me but if they don’t sit I’ll still give them some treats because they’re being good. When they do listen to me I will give them treats. The chew fresh breath bone is green. It’s hard for them to chew it and it takes them awhile to chew it.

Mrs. Rayna was telling my mom and I about the Permanent Marker that you can use on your show dogs if they have white on their face and you can cover it with permanent marker and that’s a very good idea. Thank You Mrs. Rayna for the awesome new grooming tip. When she sent her female Pug for me to show in Breed she wanted us to chalk her face with black permanent marker so we can’t see the white and so we can only see the black and that’s a really good idea.

It was a little wet at first but then it will finally dried so you have to be very careful to not touch it or you’ll get black permanent marker on your hand and that won’t be good at all. You want to let it dry for a couple of minutes. We don’t need to put any on Boomer because he doesn’t have any white and he’s fine.

A lot of people put black permanent marker on there dog’s face to cover the white. The judge won’t know you put black permanent marker on the dogs face but the judge will only know because if it’s wet. But never put black permanent marker on your dogs face indoors or the Judge will see you and will get mad that you put permanent marker on your dog’s face. You could get disqualified and the Judge could kick you out of the ring so never do it indoors. Do it outdoors so the Judge can’t see you put black permanent marker on your dog’s face.

I showed Boomer in Breed for Pugs and Boomer and I did a great job like always. Mrs. Rayna and her daughter were at the dog show Saturday and now today. Boomer took Best Of Breed again so we showed in Groups again but I knew he wouldn’t win. He didn’t win in Groups but that’s ok it’s hard to try to win in Groups. We showed in Owner- Handler again and Boomer got third place this time. → Read more

Today I showed in Juniors and it was me and this other girl.  We both did a fantastic job. She is the same girl that beat me on Saturday and that I made a silly mistake. Today I didn’t make any silly mistakes. I got First Place in my class!

Today I showed in AKC Owner- Handler and we both did an awesome job.  There were a lot of people in Owner- Handler.  I was in the ring with two people that I do know is Mrs. Michele and Mrs. Sandy St. John and there were seven people in the ring total. The lady with the Poodle got first place and I got Second Place in Owner- Handler.

I already showed in Breed for Pugs and I also showed in Juniors and then Groups and then Owner- Handler and it was a very busy day and I did an awesome job today. It was a busy day for Boomer and I. I was so excited that I placed second in Owner- Handler. Mrs. Sandy’s dog placed fourth and that’s still pretty good she and her dog did a great job too. Owner- Handler is very cool. It’s a very good experience for Boomer and I. The reason they call it Owner Handler because your the owner and your also the handler so that’s why they call it owner handler.

Today I showed Boomer in Groups at ring two I’m in toy group. Boomer and I did an awesome job in Groups but I didn’t win in Groups but that’s ok.

I need to pick up the speed when I’m walking Boomer and some people say I need to run and some people say I need to walk a little bit faster with him. They make the ring bigger when there’s Groups. Best In Show is way longer then Groups. Some people have won in Groups and some people have won in Best In Show because there so good at dog showing. And there dog is so good too. → Read more

Today I showed Boomer in Juniors and it was me and this other girl and we both did an awesome job. I needed one more win to move up into Open Senior and it was really cool to see Mrs. Rayna sit ring side watching me and supporting me.

I didn’t win first place I got second place and second place is still pretty good. The reason why I didn’t win first place and got second place is because I made a silly mistake by standing in front of the table where the Judge can’t see me or my dog. She could only see the table. The Judge knew I was making a silly mistake and she was waiting for me to correct myself  but I didn’t, so she placed her with first and gave me second place.

My mom told me that and told me why I didn’t place and I was like oh crap. I finally understood about being blocked and said yeah I did stand in front of the table. Oh well everyone makes silly mistakes these days and people make silly mistakes in life.

You never want to stand in front of the table because you will lose and won’t get a ribbon or won’t place. The table is blocking you and your dog and is also blocking the Judge. The Judge can’t see you or your dog the judge can only see the table. The Judge doesn’t want to see the table she or he wants to see the dog and the handler. Iv’e seen some people make silly mistakes by doing that and they don’t win. If I didn’t stand in front of the table I would have gotten first place and I would have beaten her and I would have also moved up into Open Senior. I learned my lesson to never stand in front of a table ever again. I wasn’t mad but I was disappointed in myself and I was happy for the other girl and she did a nice job. Oh well maybe next time.

After this weekend and learning from the fellow Pug breeders, they are trying to build majors here in Florida. Sharing this information with Mrs. Rayna inspired an exciting plan.

Mrs. Rayna and her daughter brought us a female pug named Margie for me to start showing in breed through January, helping build these majors. So Margie will be joining us for the rest of the day’s adventures right through to Groups and then she gets to meet her new family home for the next four months!  This is so cool!

So Cool!

This weekend and I showed in Deland and Mrs. Rayna and her daughter were there. She also came to watch me show Boomer. Mrs. Rayna is Boomer’s breeder and I was so excited and happy to see her. She’s an amazing person and she’s very nice. I was so happy to see her and her daughter.

Mrs. Rayna is the owner that gave us Boomer for me to show in Juniors. Boomer is an awesome Junior dog for me to show in Juniors. She got to see us do our thing.  And I showed against Mrs. Rayna and I beat her I got Best Of Breed but she did a great job though. Boomer got best of breed and Boomer beat her dog. And Boomer also beat the other lady’s dog but she did a great job too. I showed Boomer in Groups.

It was a tough time today. And I showed in Juniors at the Orlando show and we all Juniors did an a fantastic job and It was me, Hope, Brianna, and also Rachel but I didn’t win but that’s ok though like people said you don’t always win or get what you want. Hope got Best Junior Handler and she did a great job and I congratulated her and I said you did an awesome job and she said Thank You and I said Your Welcome. That was really cool that I was in the ring with Hope, Brianna, and also Rachel and the Judge was very nice. This past weekend was The Tampa Bay Chihuahua Club Specialty. I was very proud and happy for Hope and you could tell she was proud and happy for herself and that’s good she should be proud of herself. Dog Showing can be very tough sometimes and there’s a lot of times where Iv’e shown at a dog show and that have been tough for me. Dog Showing can be very tough and stressful and also hard. And it’s really hard to try to beat really good people that are really good at dog showing and have been doing it for a very long time. And showing dogs is not cheap at all it’s expensive and it’s an expensive sport and its a hard sport. There’s a lot of tough and hard sports out there.
