Today I decide to give Ginny a puppy cut. My parents me got a Wahl Arose cordless Trimmer in Funky cool teal as a Birthday present so I thought I would give it a try. That was an awesome Birthday Present!  As much as I loved using the Andis AGC super 2- speed during my grooming lessons I was told the cordless ones are easier  on your back and wrist and of course you don’t have to fight with the cord! My mom decide to try a cordless one

I like the cordless trimer better. Without the help of an instructor and going from my memory I gave Ginny her puppy cut. It has been a while sinceI had a lesson so I have to say I think I did an amazing job on her!

When my mom saw me pull at the scissors and trim around the ears and feet she was like amazed and she was like oh wow you’re doing a great job. I enjoy grooming small dogs and big breed dogs that have a lot of hair. Ginny looks so much better trimmed up and I had a great time grooming my dog.

Today my mom’s friend name Mrs. Jill came over to pick up her two new, white puppies named Toby and Rudy. She was thinking about me and she got me a very pretty bracelet. She’s a very nice lady and she’s very funny. She’s a very sweet woman.

That’s cool that her name is Jill because I actually have a friend named Jillian but her name is Jill too and people call her name Jill and that’s her nickname. Some people call her Jill or Jillian.

I love the silver and the doggy prints too. That was so kind of her to think about me and care about me. She has been supporting me by reading my blog. I am so happy to have someone supporting me and reading my blog. That makes me so so happy. I love when people read my blog and comment on it too.

I went up to her and said Thank You very much for the bracelet I really appreciate it and I also appreciate you supporting me and being there for me. I will always wear the bracelet that she got me and I love it so much.

Today, Mrs. Jane and Mr. Paul came by to see my mom and to meet Beamer. They have Kiki and Hugggie with them in Rhode Island and when Beamer retires, he will be going to live with them too! The people that made this bracelet are from up in Rhode Island. That is so cool!

My mom says that they follow her blog and read all of the stories about our dogs and about me and my competitions. They have been rooting me on from way up where they live and watching how good I have gotten at showing dogs. They got me this beautiful bracelet as a gift. I love it so much! I cannot wait to wear it at my next show. I will look at it on my wrist and remember that they are rooting for me to win! Thank you so much. I love it!

Today I decide to work on training Tipsy. We have made amazing progress with Tipsy walking on a lead but she is still not showing the confidence that we would like. With confidence you need a happy waggy tail and we haven’t had a tail raised! We also have stops and starts and I know it all stems from her lack of confidence.

My mom’s friend Sandy said training her with another dog that walks confidently might help. Little did I know that this one suggestion would change everything and change everything very quickly too!

I gave it ago with KC and it actually went quite well. When there’s another dog around she walks with her tail up and her ears up and she looked so good out there. They both did a good job. Tipsy’s tail was up and wagging . It was miracle! It worked perfectly.

Thank you Mrs. Sandy, you saved the day. You inspired us to do the same with the puppies. That’s a good ideal. I’m so happy that Tipsy is finally walking with her head high up and her tail up and also had her ears up too. She looked so confident and proud and she should be.

Today was the TBCC B Match and all in all it turned out to be quite a fun filled day! We had some last minute changes to the family schedules so we had to bring Olive along to make sure insure that she ate through out the day.

The B Match was at Pat Mattie’s house so my mom put Olive in Pat’s guest bedroom by herself. My mom had to give Baby Olive some moist food a couple of times through out the day. We also brought TY, Milly, and Sweetie for their first outside socialization adventure and those two did a fantastic job! → Read more

Today I showed in Juniors and I also showed in Groups. I showed in Groups first and and I ran over to Juniors to show Boomer again. Groups wasn’t that long anyways and when it was over I ran back to the Junior ring to show in Juniors. The Judge was calling out the Open Senior class and I really thought I would have missed Juniors but I didn’t.

Juniors started at 3:30pm and Groups started at 2:45pm two buildings away. They were calling open seniors to the ring and when I got to the junior ring all the Juniors were in the ring and I was the last one in the ring. There were five of us in the Open Senior class and we all did a fantastic job at handling our dogs. But I didn’t win or get a ribbon but that’s alright. I did an awesome job but didn’t place.

I am sure the mad dash is what threw me off. I was kinda frazzled and disappointed that I didn’t win. The kids that work with all of  the professional handlers keep winning. Oh well. They did a great job though and I showed good Sportsmanship and Congratulated them. You always want to remember this though you always want to show good sportsmanship to other people and be kind to other people too. Remember that.

Today I showed Boomer in Breed and it was me and this other lady with her black pug. We showed in Lakeland and my mom and I had to wake up very early and leave early too. Pugs showed at 9:30am and we arrived bright and early and it started with rooting on the class bitch entries. Boomer wasn’t the only male pug. I was against competition and of course Boomer got Best Of Breed. Good Job. You did an awesome job Today Boomer. Even more Grand Champion points! → Read more

Today I was playing with the puppies. I love to play with the puppies. They’re so cute and I love to socialize them. The six puppies love playing with me and I love playing with them. When you let them out of their pen and play with them that’s socializing them. They need to be socialize with other people and other dogs. Socializing puppies is a very good thing and they usually get socialize by eight weeks old.

You want to socialize them with other small dogs and big dogs and people and bring them to places. You should bring them where ever you go. you should get  them on a lead and get them used to a lead around their neck. Then you should try to walk them. If they don’t want to walk, do a light tug and show them that you have bait in your hand. Be patient and don’t get frushratied it takes awhile and don’t ever give up if they don’t walk. That’s lead breaking them.

When you keep working with your puppy at any age everyday it will finally walk for you. Some people do socialize there puppies and some people do not socialize there puppies. When you don’t socialize your puppies they can  become mean and won’t have a good personality or temperament and that won’t be good at all.

When you take them to places just ask people to pet them and hold them and give them a piece of bait. That’s another way you can  socialize a puppy. Getting your puppy socialized is a good thing and it helps or if your puppy doesn’t walk get another dog that does walk and maybe the puppy will finally walk.

Boomer is now a Daddy! Mrs. Rayna sent one of her female Pugs to us for us to breed to Boomer and her female pug is named Margie and Boomer is a male pug. She wanted to breed her to him because she wants Margie to have some babies.  When she she in heat we bred those two.

My mom had to meet Mrs. Rita somewhere and she brought Margie and Boomer to get her artificially inseminated. It’s hard for Pugs to tie so sometimes they need more help by getting them artificially inseminated. Sometimes you have to hold the female so Boomer can hump her and it’s hard for them to tie.

Then we gave her back to Mrs. Rayna and she told us that Margie is pregnant with babies and she’s has four.  The reason she knows because she felt her belly and she brought her to the vet to do x-rays to see how many babies there’s going to be. The vet said four. Wow I can’t wait when she has the babies soon and I also can’t wait to see them. I’ve never seen a baby Pug before so this was my first time ever seeing one. They’re so cute and adorable. This is not his first time ever being a daddy. He’s been a daddy before but we’ve never seen him be a daddy before so that’s cool to see him be a father to the babies.  It’s cool to see Margie be a mother to the babies.

Bubbles and her baby and we have to bottle feed the baby everyday. Every night and morning, every two hours apart. She only had one baby and that’s it. It’s a baby girl and were going to name her Olive. Actually my mom’s friend’s mother named her baby Olive. Mrs. Shelly’s mother named her Olive and that’s a cute name. I love that name for her. Mrs. Shelly and her mother got to see her come out and see her born because she did Face Time. You can see everything so Mrs. Shelly wanted to do FaceTime with my mom.

She’s very tiny but cute. We bred Bubbles to Tiger, one of Mrs. Rita’s male dog. We have to bottle feed her because Bubbles doesn’t really have enough milk for Olive so we made some goat milk for her. She drinks a lot of it and she loves it. She’s definitely hungry. And if she doesn’t drink any she could die and that wouldn’t be good at all.

You have to make sure that she’s getting the milk and the milk is coming out. If you do know she’s drinking the milk you’ll see milk on her tongue or on her face and your see white stuff all over her. This was Bubbles first time ever being a mother and that was also our first time breeding her. She’s a very good mother. We love Olive and we also love Bubbles.
