Today I showed KC in the Chihuahua Specialty and I wasn’t by myself. It was me Dolly and this other lady that I don’t know and Mrs. Edina. I got fourth place and then I went back in the ring again with Mrs. Edina and this other lady and I got second place and Mrs. Edina got third place. We all did a very great job. KC did an awesome job too. She looked so good out their and she looked so excited and happy and she had her tail up out their the whole entire time and that’s good that makes me happy. I only show her in Juniors for the Chihuahua Specialty and I also show her in long coat breed for Chihuahuas Specialties and that’s it. I’m so proud of myself and I’m also so proud of KC too.

And then Brianna and I helped my mom’s friend out Mrs. Michele by showing her two smooth coat females and we did an awesome job at showing them. We all went in for Best Of Breed but we didn’t win but that’s ok though. The dogs were scared of us because they don’t know who the heck we are but they got over their fear and that’s good. They did a fabulous job for us.

I showed Mrs. Michele’s female named CJ and Brianna showed her other female dog. Mrs. Michele and my mom were impressed with how awesome I did with CJ and they said I rocked it looking  like a pro out their. Brianna did a great job too and she rocked it too. I felt a little nervous at first showing someone else’s dog for them. Sometimes when people ask me to show their dog for them I say yeah sure. But when I show the dog and step into the ring I get a little nervous showing someone else’s dog for them. When I show one of my dogs I don’t get nervous because it’s my dog. I’m showing my dog but if they don’t walk I get frustrated with my dog.

There were a lot of smooth coats in Best Of Breed. All in all it was an awesomely successful specialty with everyone having a fabulous time and we all can’t wait for next year. Another awesome weekend.

Today was the Tampa Bay Chihuahua Club Specialty. For Juniors, I showed KC and Rachel showed her chihuahua TinkerBell and I had to show against her. We both did a very good job but she got first place and I got second place. She beat me but second place is still very good. And the Judge was very nice and kind. KC did a very nice job and her dog TinkerBell did too. We both are very good at dog showing and what we do. Then Brianna and Rachel went in for Best Junior Handler and they both did an awesome job. Rachel beat Brianna and Rachel got Best Junior Handler. I think Brianna did a very great job. I’m happy for Rachel but I feel so bad for Brianna because she didn’t win oh well maybe next time.

All the Juniors are very good at what they do and their very good at dog showing and a lot of them have been doing it for a very long time but I’m sure there’s a lot that haven’t been showing dogs for a very long time. It’s a very hard sport it’s not an easy sport.

After I was done showing in Chihuahuas for the Junior Specialty I had to run to another ring to show Boomer in Juniors for the St. Petersburg show.  Of course I didn’t win but that’s alright though. We all did a fantastic job at showing off our Professional skills and their were a lot of Juniors in my Open Senior class.

One of my show friend’s is in my class. I’ve met some really nice teenagers that are my age or a little bit older then me and their my dog show friends I only see them and hang out with them at dog shows and that’s it and I met this one girl this past weekend and she’s seventeen and her name is Haley and she’s very nice. I’ve met some really nice people and became friends with them and I have a lot of new friends that are now friends with me on Facebook. I like making new friends and getting to know them by talking to them and asking them questions. But dog showing isn’t just making friends it’s also about learning and having fun and being a Professional Handler and showing people’s dogs for them and grooming dogs. That’s what it’s about.

I want to become a Professional Handler and I want to show people’s dogs for them so I can get paid but not just to get paid. I want to do it to have fun. I learned by people telling me or I also have learned by watching other people. That’s how I’ve learned. Learning something is a very good thing but if you don’t learn something at least that’s a bad thing.

After I was done showing in Chihuahuas, we went over to the Junior ring and I showed Boomer in Juniors. There were seven of us in the Open Senior class and we all did an awesome job. We all showed off our professional skills.

There were two new Juniors that I have never seen before or have never seen show in Juniors before. Haley and Lilia and I didn’t win. The other Juniors won and all three of us did a great job and they did too. Only four can win and only three can not win. They only have four ribbons first place second place third place and fourth place. → Read more

We haven’t shown in both the long and smooth coats varieties in such a long time so getting ready for a full day of showing far from home made for an interesting morning. And we arrived at our hotel last night and we were staying with our roommate Mrs. Michele. Chihuahuas showed at 8:00am so we had to wake up early and leave early so we could get there early in the morning.

My mom sat ring side taking pictures of Beamer and I showed Beamer in the Open Dog Class and we both did a great job and we weren’t the only ones in the ring it was Ms. Rachel and I. Ms Rachel’s dog beat my dog. But I at least got second place. That’s still pretty good. Then I went back in the ring again and I was in the ring with my mom’s friend Mrs. Michele and her dog beat my dog too. We both did an awesome job though and both of our dogs did a great job too. Beamer loves to show and he’s a happy go lucky dog. → Read more

Today Mrs. Jen and her daughter Brianna came over to our house to do dog class and also do some grooming tips on Boomer and KC before the dog show was coming up.

We used a striping blade and some grooming scissors and a brush to cut some of his hair off by his tail and by his butt and his back and also his chest too. You want to be very careful with a striping blade when you use it on your dogs because if you pull the dogs hair too hard you could hurt the dog or make the dog scream.  You have to be very careful and know what you’re doing. You don’t want to the dog bleed or have a scratch mark so that’s why you need to be careful with the blade. → Read more

Last Class

Today was our last dog class and I was working with KC and Brianna was working with Beamer. I was working with KC because I will be showing her in the Junior Chihuahua Specialty and I need to work really hard with her if I want to win and beat Rachel. KC did really good with me and I did really good with her. KC did really good with me in dog class today and I’m so proud of myself and I’m also so proud of KC too.

When I walked her she had her head up and her ears up and she also had her tail up too. She looked like she was happy and having fun and that’s good. Usually when I walk her she’s scared or nervous and she also usually shakes too but this time she didn’t and that’s good. When I stopped to bait her and she free stacked she did a great job. And when I got on the ground to stack her she had her ears up and her tail up and I had to hold her tail and the lead. She’s a great Junior dog for me to show in Juniors for Chihuahuas for the specialty. I was having fun and I was happy and I was also talking to her and I was walking the right speed with her. → Read more

Today Brianna and her mother Mrs. Jen came over and we did our dog training. This time,  I worked with my Junior dog Boomer, my mom worked with Tipsy and Brianna worked with her Junior dog, her Pomeranian. I learned a lot from Mrs. Jen.

When your dog is on the ground you want to reach down and grab the lead with your right hand. You wrap the lead around your neck and then you want to put the dog on the table and stack the dog on the table. It should only take five second’s to stack the dogs front legs and back legs and you shouldn’t ever keep messing with the dogs front and back legs. You don’t want to grab the dog’s rear pasterns,  you want to grab the hock. When you stack the front legs you want to grab the forearm. The back legs are called the hock and the front legs are called the rear pastern. → Read more

Today we had dog class at my house so Brianna and her mother Mrs. Jen came over and they have a couple of small dogs and they have a couple of big dogs so today she brought her Great Dane for me to work with it and I have never been able to work with a large breed dog before. Great Dane’s are pretty big dogs and their so cute. Her great dane is a boy and his name is Marty and he’s a very loving friendly sweet dog and he loves other people and he also loves other big dogs and small dogs. Marty is so cool! → Read more

Today we had dog class at our house in our front yard and Brianna and her mother, Mrs. Jen came over. Mrs. Jen was the Judge and there’s two mother’s name Mrs. Jen my mom and her mom. I worked with KC and Brianna worked with Beamer.

I have learned everything I know on showing a dog from watching others and I know how to show a toy breed dog because I have watched others show little toy breed dogs. and I would learn how to show a big breed dog from watching people show large breed dogs. I have payed attention to that.

KC and I did an awesome job. KC had her tail up when I walked her and we both did a great job. KC did an awesome job when I stacked her on the table and she also did an awesome job when I walked her and free stacking and baiting.

I also got to work with her big breed dog Marty the Great Dane. I enjoyed working with her Great Dane. He’s a really nice sweet dog and he loves other big dogs and small dogs. And of course our little adult Chihuahua name Beamer loves other dogs and he loves other small dogs and big breed dogs. → Read more

Today I decide to work with Beamer out in my front yard. We are tang him back out into the show ring so I walked him on the lead and I also got on my knees to hand stack him. He did a pretty good job.

He hasn’t shown in a very long time so I decide to practice working with him. We brought him to the dog show last weekend and Mrs. Michele thinks we can show him and finish him. I don’t know about that but I will try. He’s a nice sweet dog though and he’s got a great temperament. He loves other people and he also loves other big dogs and small dogs.

When I walked him I talked to him and he also had his tail up and he also had his ears up too. He held his head up high too. He did a fantastic job. It wasn’t that hard to get him back into show gear. He pranced like the world was rooting him on and he seemed to be enjoying the extra attention. You go Beamer. I just need to work with my Chihuahuas and my pug everyday in my front yard. It was a great day to work with Beamer in my front yard.
